James brings more than 20 years’ end-to-end property experience, spanning auctions, agency, development, building surveying, retrofit and valuation. A hands-on practitioner, he regularly undertakes Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys, producing clear, risk-based reports with practical recommendations that help clients make confident decisions.

He has worked with leading organisations including Savills, Knight Frank and Connells, and later sharpened his client-service ethos within a family-office investment environment. Trusted by a broad client base—high-street and private banks, investment trusts, London estate portfolios and solicitors—James is known for calm, commercial advice and meticulous attention to detail.

A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer (VRS), he is committed to the highest professional standards. Passionate about sustainability in the built environment, he holds the ABBE Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment and the NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Energy Efficiency of Older & Traditional Buildings.
