Guy Harrison

Guy Harrison is a RICS Chartered Surveyor with more than 30 years’ experience in general practice surveying. His career has a strong technical backbone in building pathology and pre-acquisition due diligence, and he is highly skilled in delivering both RICS Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys. Clients value his clear, risk-prioritised reporting, practical remediation advice and ability to translate complex findings into commercial decisions.

Beyond condition assessment, Guy has extensive experience in the acquisition of residential and commercial assets—ranging from single dwellings to multi-let investments and development opportunities. He combines diligent appraisal with negotiation strategy, guiding clients from early feasibility and valuation through to heads of terms, legal due diligence and completion, always with a sharp focus on value, risk and exit.

Guy also brings a calm, methodical approach to contentious matters. He has a strong track record in boundary disputes, drawing on measured surveys, title and mapping analysis and proportionate dispute-resolution strategies to achieve pragmatic outcomes. His work on building and contract disputes is similarly thorough, providing evidence-based evaluations that help clients and their advisers chart a clear path to resolution.

In July 2024, Guy joined Harding Chartered Surveyors, where he continues to provide measured, client-centred advice to homeowners, investors, developers and professional advisers alike.
