Job Description



Your primary role will be dedicated to performing Schedule of Condition reports. This task will require you to meticulously document the current condition of properties before any work under the Party Wall etc Act 1996 begins. You will be responsible for preparing detailed reports that clearly outline the physical state of buildings to help mitigate any disputes between property owners regarding changes or damages related to construction activities.

In this role, you will operate independently, yet benefit from the backing of Harding Chartered Surveyors, a firm with extensive expertise in party wall matters. Your efforts in producing thorough and accurate condition reports will directly contribute to the firm's reputation and growth by ensuring high client satisfaction. Additionally, you will develop strategies to draw new clients, thereby enhancing the firm's prestigious client base and strengthening its market presence.


Skills Required



To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Background in Party Wall Surveying
  • Experience carrying out Schedule of Condition reports in relation to party wall and neighbourly matters
  • Experience of Party Wall matters in residential and commercial properties, and other tenures also to be comfortable when liaising directly with clients
  • Experience of checking off schedules of condition on completion, and agreeing remedies for damage
  • A full and clean UK driving licence
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to use proprietary IT software to collate reports
  • A willingness to travel across London to carry out schedules of condition reports

Location



Your role will offer a dynamic blend of remote work from home, travel to various job sites across London, and periodic visits to our office in Fulham, London.


Commision



This position offers the flexibility to enhance your earnings through a commission structure based on your fee income.
